Hi. Any news regarding v4? Will it use geared 250W?

In case anybody is still interested: I just mounted the geared 250W 24V Variant (MY1016Z2) to my belt tensioner.
To be honest: This is the motor this project should use as the default. For my taste, the original ungeared 350W motor was a bit too fast, resulting in rough and noisy action. The geared motor acts way smoother while delivering a lot more torque.
As a comparison: At levels above 30% in SimHub, I need to hold my breath as the motor pulls on the belts.

Hint: The output shaft on this version has a 11mm diameter and a 4mm key. I simply 3d printed a .5mm sleeve for the shaft and filed a keyway into the SHF12, resulting in a tight and secure fit.

Of course the original cable guide won’t fit anymore. As of now it looks like I don’t need a guide at all (keeping both the seat belts and the brake cable under a basic tension with bungee cords), but maybe I’ll design a new one and publish it as a remix on printables.
