To connect the bass shaker amp to the sound card, there are three approaches:

1) The sound card integrated to the motherboard

This is the ideal solution to test an installation since all motherboards are equipped with an analog output. However, you will need a relatively high-end card to have 5.1 outputs. You can also use the optical outputs.

2) The dedicated sound card, to be connected to the motherboard

This is the best solution if you want a better sound quality than the one offered by the sound card integrated in the motherboard. In general, dedicated sound cards are proposed with updated and functional drivers.

3) The external sound card

Can be installed in your simulator, and as close as possible to the amps. This is often the best solution for an elegant installation.
